How-To Host a Tie Dye Baby Shower

Here's how to gather all the elements for your tie dye baby shower.  Simply check out this pretty display and adapt these ideas to work at your next shower.  Make the colors bright and fun, to make your party super festive and fun.  All these decorations and elements (minus the yummy cake balls and punch) were created using tie dye!

Check out all the fun eye candy at our event!   We used paper umbrellas for a huge splash of color by applying dye on the edges with a large paint brush, let them dry and place on the tables and as a backdrop for selfies and to make the atmosphere really fun!
And the adorable baby diaper cake lined with tie dye pom poms, tulle, and a glittered B for baby stole the show! You can make any letter for your new baby's name.
Here's a great tutorial from Wikihow showing how to make a diaper cake. I simply added swatches of tie dye fabric to this one, along with fuchsia tulle and pompoms we made!
Adorn your tables with large tie dye fabric swatches over white tablecloths with matching tie dye onesies and bouquets as accents.  You can also add tie dye onesie roses inside the fresh flowers and give them to the expectant mommy to take home for the new baby.
Here;s a picture of the pretty roses up close on the tables.
You can also have a fun tie-dye onesie-making station where everyone can dye baby bibs and onesies.
Of course it's a party, so tie-dye cake balls will get the party started!
