Make these adorable stuffed wiener dogs with magnetic noses that magically makes them KISS! Valentine's Day or any day will be sweeter when you give them to somebody you love.
My inspiration came from our two dachshunds Jens and Otto. They are 5 year old brothers, and we adore them with their velvety fur and puppy love eyes. They loved the stuffies, too! I think the stuffed critters would make great dog toys if you add a squeaker box, and don't add the magnets to the noses so they're not a choking issue.
The FREE Pattern I designed is small, but you can increase it to whatever size you would like.

How To Make a Pair of Kissing Stuffies:
Print out the pattern, which is 2 pieces of paper, and tape them together to make a complete pattern. Cut out the patterns.
FREE PATTERN:
Fold red fabric in half, and pin the dog pattern to the 2 layers of fabric. Cut out. Remove the pins and lay aside.
Fold polka dotted fabric in half, and pin the dog pattern to the 2 layers of fabric. Cut out. Remove the pins and lay aside.
Fold Black fabric in half, and pin the ear pattern to the 2 layers of fabric. Cut out. Remove the pins and repeat 3 more times so that you have 4 pairs of ears.
Pin and sew the 4 sets of ears together, with the right sides of the fabric facing into each other, leaving the top of the ear open, as seen below. Cut notches in the curved edges of the seams. Turn the ears right side out. Use a wooden stuffing stick or popsicle stick to turn if needed.
Press the 4 ears flat with fingers or a steam iron.
Pin 2 ears to the top of the head of each polka dotted puppy fabric. Pin the red puppy fabric on top of the polka dotted fabric, along all the edges.
Sew a 1/2-inch seam on all sides, leaving a 4-inch opening on the stomach of the puppy. Back-stitch to begin and end the seam for reinforcement. Cut notches in the curves areas of the seam.
Turn the puppy right side out, using a wooden stuffing stick or popsicle stick to get the smaller areas turned.
Repeat all the sewing and turning steps for the second puppy. Press with a steam iron.
Stuff both puppies with Poly-fil®. Use a wooden stuffing stick to push the stuffing into the noses, feet and tails until the puppy is completely stuffed.
Hand-sew the openings shut with a simple whip stitch.
Hot glue the magnets to the nose of each puppy.
And there you have KISSING WIENER DOGS!
